Never met a spa I didn't like!

My husband and I are on our way down to Mohegan Sun Casino for an overnight. I have to say that I was never excited about going to any casino before I was introduced to the spa.
You see Bill likes to play blackjack and shoot craps, I on the other hand have a hard time putting a quarter into a slot machine. About twelve years ago, while on vacation in St. Maartin I won $75 in a slot machine and immediately proceeded to cash out!
The very first time Bill and I went overnight to Foxwoods Casino, I spent several boring hours in the Keno parlor, while he spent hours at the tables. Not sure how many times I will be able to do this, is what I was thinking.
We were meeting another couple for dinner, at least that will get me out of the Keno parlor.
"Maureen your hair looks lovely", I commented as we met the C's for dinner.
"I have been at the spa all afternoon, having my hair and nails done".
That was all it took to get my attention. "Where is the spa ?"
I have been hooked eversince. Several of the staff at Foxwood Spa know me I have been there so much. I have tried almost all treatments on the menu. (I am nothing if not curious!)
Bill says to me now, it would cost him less to have me out on the floor gambling.
Only one treatment that I can honestly say I would never have again "the cocoon wrap" .
I was at Canyon Ranch in Lenox in Dec 2002 and decided to try it.
It sounds so wonderful, but for someone who tends towards low blood pressure-not a good idea!
A tub is filled half full with water. Then my body was lathered with a detox mud combo, wrapped in foil and a blanket ,over, but not in the tub.
"Helen, I am getting too hot", I called to the spa attentdant, who came over and partially unwrapped me.
"I will be right outside the shower door, if you need me", she let me know as she helped me in.
Well I needed her alright!
"Helen, I think I am getting faint!" I weakly called out, as I sat down on the shower bench. I have fainted before, and I know the feeling. The first time was in 9th grade gym class when I got hit in the finger with a basketball. Luckily for my head, the gym teacher caught me!

No more coccoons for me!
But the spa I will never give up!
